Be the first to know when they tour near Chemnitz, Germany. Josh Groban born February 27, is an American multi-platinum, award-winning, classical, pop and operatic singer, hailing from Los Angeles, California, U.

Groban subsequently studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and Cernegie Mellon University, before dropping out of the latter having been offered a recording contract. The album subsequently went double-platinum, earned favourable reviews from critics, and spawned the Adult Contemporary Chart No. The album ultimately topped the U. S Billboard after debuting at No.

What a sensational performance. Setting aside for a moment his immense talent as a singer and pianist he is a truly great performer who clearly appreciates his audience and goes to the nth degree to give back to them and interact making them feel include in the show. Everyone on stage with him from the orchestra to guest stars seemed genuinely delighted to be there and a part of the show.

He did a lot of musical numbers from his latest album Stages including songs from Chess, Carousel and Phantom of the Opera. Another highlight of the evening for me was when he revealed Louise Dearman as a guest performer.

What can say except breath taking. She is such an elegant, powerful and proud performer commanding an immense stage presence. She starts to sing and you just find yourself drawn in, captivated and enchanted. Throughout the night the show just seemed to go from strength to strength leaving you at the end of the night feeling uplifted and overjoyed.

A truly spectacle evening. I urge any and everyone to go see the show if you get the chance. Read more. Report as inappropriate. Along with the majestic orchestra he usually has set up, the combination of instruments and his voice puts you in a state of emotional bliss. Wishing and wanting to be able to belt it out the way he does. His albums, in no way, hint at his personality. Listening to his music, you would think he is quiet, reserved, deep and intelligent. Of which all could be true, however, at a live show Josh Groban shows another side, a louder, funnier, and charming side that you had no idea even existed.

Running in to the crowd, singing happy birthday to those who deserve it and making a joke at every opportunity and mind you, the jokes are actually funny. Wonderful, his performances are simply wonderful. I love listening to Josh Groban. At the concert I learned it does not really matter if I hear him through good speakers or live.

At least not at this concert. There was nothing wrong with the concert. He performed, but that was all. Somehow, I did not feel like he engaged the audience. He primarily looked off to his stage right, since I was sitting stage left, that was frustrating.

I don't really fault him, but I thing between the altitude and the tight concert schedule, he was just tired. The photo shot was very brief. Later I learned other people had several photos taken, I had the standard 3 fast shutter clicks and out. Others had fun poses! I counted, only 80 people, total qualified for pictures, and extra 15 seconds with those who did not get the extras, would not have ruined his or anyone else's night, but would have made ours.

I barely got to say hello and thank you. Again, I love to listen to him.
